GCB Constructions had the pleasure of renovating and extending the Tallebudgera SLSC.
The renovation included removal of the existing roofing, floor tiles, block walls, footings concrete stairs, existing retaining walls as well as existing plumbing removal and excavations.
GCB provided an extra 125m2 of storage space under the new terrace area including an engineered foundation and steel roof structure to accommodate an additional level for future expansion.
With the construction of an expansive terraced area of 300m2, it now provides a significant alfresco dining, function and entertaining space that has provided the club with spectacular and expansive sea breezes and views.
The materials used in construction were state of the art and very modern to marry in with future plans the club may have. Products chosen for this unique refurbishment are of an acoustic rated standard in order to withstand the constant salt air and the harshest of conditions.
It was extremely gratifying to work with Tallebudgera Surf Lifesaving Club and EJE Architecture to construct what has been a major addition and definite asset to their club.
