This project saw the installation of specialist wash and work bays within a live operating service centre for franchisee Isuzu Trucks. Through our active engagement, GCB Constructions delivery teams facilitated both design and efficient construction methodology to ensure minimal disruption was caused to the live and highly activate service areas of the facility.

Our teams established onto site and isolated the main site activities away from the active yard. GCB Construction diligently conducted several engagement and coordination workshops with the project stakeholders to facilitate timing for services and infrastructure connections.

Upon completion our teams handed over several large scale, commercial wash facilities incorporating new structures and slabs, high volume drainage systems and environmental controls. The works also involved the permanent relocation of fuel dispenser systems.

The Queensland Government announced the Cooler Cleaner Schools Program (CCSP), which will provide a total funding package of more than $477 million over 4 years to air condition state schools and expand solar panel installations under the existing Advancing Clean Energy Schools (ACES) program.

This program will provide air conditioning to Queensland state school classrooms, libraries and staff rooms; delivering more comfortable teaching and learning environments for students, teachers and school communities.

The projects all required substantial coordination and detailed management to successfully deliver works within a live school environment whilst mitigating hazards and containment removal from the school grounds.
